Education and Training

High School Diploma or GED.

One year work related experience.

Minimum Qualifications

·       Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

·    Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

·     Ability to read and understand part prints and engineering specifications.

·     Basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

·     Ability to work with both metric and standard measuring systems.

·     Familiar with the use and proper care of both precision and non-precision measuring tools.

·     Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from supervisor(s) and also work with minimal or no supervision when required.

 Physical Demands

·       Ability to stand continuously for 8 – 12 hours.

·    Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively.

·    Ability to lift up to 12 pounds repetitively.

·    Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

·     Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills.

·     Good close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions

·    Exposure to loud noise.

·    Exposure to hot and humid conditions.

·    Double hearing protection and eye protection is required at all times in all production areas.

·    Steel toe boots with metatarsals required at all times.
