Quality Associate CNC
Education and Training
High School Diploma or GED, (1) year minimum in QA Inspector
Quality Stamp (QF-62a), CNC QA Work Instructions (WI-357a), Gauge Maintenance, basic knowledge of MS Excel, Gauge Studies and PPAP
Minimum Qualifications
· Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
· Must be able to present information in a one-on-one or to small groups
· Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Must be able to perform the same for metric unit of measurement
· Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished, written, oral or diagram form
· Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Physical Demands
· Regularly required to walk, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel
· Occasionally required to sit and reach with hands and arms
· Frequently lift and or move up to 12 pounds
· Occasionally lift and or move up to 30 pounds.
· Must have clear vision; both at a distance and close, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Environmental Conditions
· Exposure to a noisy work environment
· Exposure to hot and humid conditions
· Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water
· Ear and Eye protection required at all times in all production areas
· Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all times
