Quality Manager
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, business or related field required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Quality Professional with minimum 5+ years implementing effective Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership role in a manufacturing related field required
- IATF 16949 and/or QS9000/ISO9001 experience preferred.
- Proven usage of poka-yoke and statistical methods to assure quality.
- Experience leading effective APQP activities such as D/PFMEA.
- Experience with processes (machining, welding, forming, assembly), products and/or industry highly desirable.
- Sound understanding of principles of GD&T.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute multiple responsibilities, projects and results-based activities.
- Ability to effectively improve skill sets of quality department personnel and delegate, where appropriate
- American Society for Quality Certified Engineer and/or Six Sigma Black Belt desirable.

- Constant sitting and grasping
- Occasional driving, grasping and pinching
- Minimal standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing and reaching
- Lift up to 25 lbs.
- Carry up to 15 lbs. approximately 25 feet
- Push/Pull 10 lbs. of force 5 feet
- Travel to other Hendrickson plant, conferences/meetings, suppliers, and customers on as-needed basis

- Work Environment: Office/Administrative with daily interaction on the manufacturing floor
- Lighting: Adequate
- Temperature: Temperature Controlled with AC/Heat.
