Quality Associate Semac-2nd & 3rd shift
Education and Training:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifications:
· Related job experience helpful
· Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
· Ability to read and understand part prints and engineering specifications
· Basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
· Ability to work with both metric and standard measuring systems
· Familiar with the use and proper care of both precision and non-precision measuring tools
· Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from supervisor(s) and also work with minimal or no supervision when required
Physical Demands:
· Ability to stand continuously for 8 – 12 hours
· Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively
· Ability to lift up to 12 pounds repetitively
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
· Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
· Good close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception
Environmental Conditions:
· Exposure to loud noise
· Exposure to hot and humid conditions
· Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles
· Hearing protection and eye protection is required at all times in all production and assembly areas
· Steel toe boots with metatarsals are required at all times
