Education and Training:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Forklift operation experience helpful

Minimum Qualifications

·         Ability to read and write

·         Good communication skills

·         Must be able to work independently and also work well with others

Physical Demands:

·         Must be able to sit continuously for 8-12 hours

·         Must be able to continuously move on and off the forklift

·         Specific vision abilities are required including close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception

·         Must be able to lift 20 pounds repetitively

·         Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally

·         Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively

·         Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

·         Ability to work outdoors for an extended period in extreme weather conditions

·         Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations

Environmental Conditions:

·         Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areas

·         Exposure to noisy work environment

·         Exposure to hot and humid conditions

·         Exposure to extreme weather conditions

·         Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water

·         Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards always required
