Position Purpose:

Manage the material movements involving scheduling.

Essential Functions:

· Manage the scheduling of customer orders while maintaining customer service objectives to meet on-time shipments

· Maintain schedule workflow according to established manufacturing processes and lead times to meet customer demand.

· Function as a liaison between customer service and manufacturing in support of the development, execution and implementation of customer programs.

· Identify inventory discrepancies resulting from production reporting processes.

· Continuous improvement and development of systems in support of process improvement and elimination of waste.

Education and Training

· Associates degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

· APICS certification a plus

· 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience in scheduling and capacity planning required

· Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects required.

· 3+ years’ experience with PC software applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) required

· Strong written and verbal communication skills required

· Work with a sense of urgency and handle multiple projects at once required.
