Essential Functions:

1.      Manages the functional activities of the position in a manner consistent with insuring that the plant achieves and maintains on-time shipping performance of 98% or higher.

2.      Plans, schedules, and coordinates all requirements in a manner consistent with insuring that minimum inventory levels and maximum efficiency levels are maintained.

3.      Manages the forecast data to ensure effective planning levels are maintained to support the Marketing forecast and the facility’s sales plan.

4.      Maintains the planning bills and CA-KBM item master records to insure the effective planning of component level parts.

5.      Communicates with sales personnel on all issues related to meeting customer requirements.

 

Education and Training

·         Bachelor’s degree in related field highly desired, or relevant experience

·         APICS certified or pursuing certification a requirement

·         Knowledge of MRPII required. QAD experience preferred

 

Minimum Qualifications

·         Knowledge of KanBan, ISO 9000, and JIT concepts and techniques a plus

·         Minimum 3-5 years in a series of progressive Production and Inventory Control functions (e.g. Master Scheduling, Inventory Control, etc.) in an MRP environment

·         Minimum 1-3 years experience as a Master Scheduler in a manufacturing environment is required

·         Ability to interface with customers, suppliers, and individuals at all levels of the organization

 

 Physical Demands

·         Constant sitting

·         Occasional standing, walking and balancing

·         Minimal bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing and reaching

·         Lifting 1-5 lbs.

·         Carry up to 20 lbs. approximately 25 feet

·         Push/Pull 1-10 lbs. of force 5 feet

·         Office environment

·         Manufacturing environment
