Education and Training

  • Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or other related technical degree program is desired
  • Equivalent experience in applicable area in addition to years of experience is a possible substitute for a degree.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years maintenance experience
  • 2 years’ experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley)
  • 5 years’ experience with single and three phase electrical system
  • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, electrical and hydraulic schematics, equipment manuals, and department work procedures.
  • Familiar with Siemens and/or Fanuc CNC Controls needed
  • Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC and other state/local organizations.
  • Machining and welding capabilities required (Certified Welder is a plus)
  • Robotic background is a plus (Fanuc preferred)
  • Computer literature, i.e., Microsoft-Office applications
  • Ability to work different shifts and holidays as required to support production and other engineering/maintenance projects
  • Position requires to work over-time as needed

Physical Demands

  • Constant standing, walking, reaching and balancing
  • Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing
  • Minimal sitting and crawling
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Carry up to 50 lbs. approximately 5 feet
  • Push/Pull 20-40 lbs. of force 40 feet

 

Environmental Conditions

  •         Work Environment: Manufacturing.
  •         Lighting: Adequate.
  •         Temperature: Non-Temperature Controlled. Humidity, Heat, Cold are factors during the year.
