Education and Training
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, Aeronautical, or related Engineering field required.
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years’ experience as a test engineer working with hydraulic, pneumatic and electronically controlled test equipment.
- 5+ years’ experience setting up and operating electronic data acquisition equipment.
- 3+ years’ experience in the supervision of engineers and engineering support personnel.
- Skilled with 3D CAD software.
- Skilled at reading technical drawings (e.g. to ASME Y14.5-2009).
- Skilled with set-up and operation of hydraulically-actuated testing equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in the structural design of vehicle chassis systems and components, including fatigue analysis and life prediction techniques.
- Must have developed problem solving skills (formally, 8D or other problem-solving experience).
Physical Demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position constantly.
- Frequent movement of hands, wrists, or fingers such as typing, filing, and writing.
- Occasionally need to move about inside office and plant designated area.
Environmental Conditions
- Frequent exposure to office designated area.
- Frequent exposure to loud noises.
