Education and Training

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering-related field

·         Five to eight plus years experience in manufacturing, preferably in a related industry.

Minimum Qualifications

·         Formal training in robotic systems, metal fabrication and arc welding is a strong positive.

·         Hands-on experience in tooling, fixturing and methods is required.

·         Hands-on experience with CAD and CAM technology is a strong positive.

·         Experience in Controls or PLC programming is a strong positive.

·         Experience in procurement of manufacturing systems and equipment relative to metal working is a strong positive.

·         Production experience is a strong positive.

·         Should demonstrate excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Should be customer focused.

 Physical Demands

·         Constant standing, walking, reaching, and balancing.

·         Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.

·         Minimal sitting and crawling.

·         Lift up to 50 lbs.

·         Carry up to 50 lbs. approximately 5 feet.

·         Push/Pull 20-40 lbs. of force 40 feet.

Environmental Conditions

·         Work environment: Office/Administrative and Industrial/Manufacturing.

·         Lighting: Adequate.

·         Ventilation: Adequate.

·         Temperature: Frequently in temperature-controlled environment with AC/Heat. Occasionally in non-temperature-controlled environment.
