Position Purpose:

Overall suspension system design support. Responsible for developing suspension component, creating and revising CAD drawings, generating suspension, and producing tolerance studies.

Essential Functions:

·       Assist engineers in product design, development, and production release activities.

·       Utilize Computer Aided Design and 3D modeling skills to design and detail suspension system components and systems that satisfy customer requirements and meet Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems cost, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

·       Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T to create drawings that accurately define parts and reflect design intent.

·       Utilize knowledge of Hendrickson Auxiliary Axle Systems product offerings to assist the customer service department in the proper application of HAUX products.

·       Assist the customer service department in providing product technical support.  Record information pertinent to the call for future reference by the engineering department.

·       Other duties as assigned.
